Professionally trained in the famous Barret & Coe school of Photography in Norwich, UK, Cathal realises how privileged he is to earn a living from doing what he enjoys best, Photography. Available to work nationwide and based from his home in Dunmore in Co. Galway, which he shares with his wife Josephine (an accomplished florist) and his daughter Molly, Cathal takes great pride in his photography, with attention to detail a hallmark of his work.

His Wedding Photography can best be described as “Story Telling” resulting in an Album & DVD which will always bring you back to those little details that shall open a floodgate of memories – after all a good picture should always speak a thousand words, especially when taken in the candid, natural, un-posed fashion, which Cathal favours. It is always important to record family & friends group shots, for as life moves on, these photos will stand the true test of time. Posed shots are kept to a fuss-free minimum, but always mindful of what the Bride & Groom want from their Wedding Photography – it is Your Day & it simply must be Your Way.

Cathal also enjoys working with families & children (of all ages) to record family portraits, especially during special events such as 1st Holy Communions, Confirmations, Christenings, Special Anniversaries, etc. Portraits of this kind can be captured at your location of choice or indeed from the comfort of your own home, with a full mobile studio service available.

Cathal is continuing his journey with Landscape photography, a journey he believes has no actual end – for the perfect Landscape photograph he believes is elusive to all! It is something however he aspires to.

Commercial photography is also well catered for at affordable rates & Old Photographs are faithfully restored, again at a fair & reasonable rate.
